Mapinguari
Has been also called the Big Foot of South America, the protector of the jungle and “The snuggliest beast we have seen in the club”
Mapinguari means “Roaring Beast” and this roasting beast is said to wander the forests of South America tearing down a path through the forests looking for food. According to native folklore this creature is said to have one eye, long claws, backward feet and a second mouth on its belly emitting an order that leaves men confused, dizzy and even unconscious.
More recent accounts describe it resembling giant ground dwelling sloths, with long arms, a sloping back covered in a thick matted fur standing up to 7ft tall. Despite the size the ability to move through the forest without sound makes this creature extra dangerous sneaking up on unsuspecting locals with no warning. We don’t know much else, it is believed that they are carnivores after a slaughter of 100 cattle in 1937 but to our knowledge it does not eat humans.
The only known weakness is that they avoid bodies of water, limiting them to areas without lakes, rivers or lagoons.
While each color has its own specific recipe every skein is individually hand dyed and hand painted which may cause colors to vary in distribution.
If using more than one skein in a project I recommend alternating skeins.
