It is used to flavor other liquors, wines and beers, treat inflammation and promote appetites and has pesticide like properties, being places in chicken nests to repel lice, fleas and mites.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHowever it can be ingested in a  unsafe way. This plant contains Thujone, this can cause seizures, kidney failure, tremors, physic and sensory disturbances, vomiting and eventually lead to death.
