Fenrir
One of the children of Loki, Fenrir is a frighteningly large wolf, when he opens his mouth his upper and lower jaws would touch the sky and the ground, with colossal strength over powering all other norse monsters whose name means “the one that dwells in the marshes''.
Coming from Norse mythology Fenrir doesn’t appear a lot in the stories but his tale is a very important one, causing the fall of the gods and the end of the universe. To protect the world the gods of Asgard kept him chained as he grew up through trickery saying he was too weak to escape, but he broke free easily during the first two attempts so the gods turned to the dwarves to create a chain. They came back with Gleipnir, a thin and soft ribbon. Ty the god of war was the only one brave enough to attempt to tether the wolf, lost his arm in the process of trapping Fenrir, chaining him to a rock named Gioll a mile beneath the surface of the earth.
His story is not over yet. When Ragnarok begins the massive earthquakes will crack Gioll freeing Fenrir from his maddening captivity and he will rampage through the nine worlds devouring anything and everything in his path. He will destroy the sun and Moo, blanketing the worlds in utter darkness and chaos.
While each color has its own specific recipe every skein is individually hand dyed and hand painted which may cause colors to vary in distribution.
If using more than one skein in a project I recommend alternating skeins.
