Wormwood also known as Mugwort, a bitter herb, is most notable known for being an ingredient in Absinthe. This spiraled leafy sage silver green plant is found native in Eurasia and Northern Africa but has been grown and cultivated across Europe and North America. Like many of these plants there are medicinal and other uses when small amounts are administered. It is used to flavor other liquors, wines and beers, treat inflammation and promote appetites and has pesticide like properties, being places in chicken nests to repel lice, fleas and mites.

However it can be ingested in a  unsafe way. This plant contains Thujone, this can cause seizures, kidney failure, tremors, physic and sensory disturbances, vomiting and eventually lead to death. While it is not common for wormwood poisoning to occur they do still happen.

While each color has its own specific recipe every skein is individually hand dyed and hand painted which may cause colors to vary in distribution.
If using more than one skein in a project I recommend alternating skeins.
